i dropped my ipod 4th gen now wont connect internet

What happens when you try to connect? Error messages?

Can the iPod see the network(s)?

If "no wifi" or it is dim or grayed out see:

iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim

It is usually a hardware problem. I suspect that since you said the problem started after you dropped it.
