Have both iPad and MacBook pro, for some reason my MacBook will no longer connect to Internet.  Worked yesterday and just shows an "!" in the airport icon.  Message states that airport has sel-assigned ip address and will not connect to Internet.  I have tried all I can find on-line but no luck.  Not very computer savy but someone out here has had same issue.  Ugh!!!!!!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Not sure what airport I have?

Remove folder from the below mentioned location:

    1. First Turn off WiFi.

    2. Macintosh HD -> Library -> System Configuration (Folder), move it to desktop.

    3. Restart your computer.

    4. Turn On WiFi and join your WiFi network.
