Compilation Issues on ipad & iphone

I have a lot of compilation albums and I would like for the individual songs to appear under the artists' names on my iPhone and ipad. For example, I have 10 tracks from an individual album by "Artist A" and I have 4 tracks by Artist A on compilation CDs. On my iPad, only the songs with "Artist A" in Album Artist show up under the artist's name. Is there anyway to get songs from both the artist's album & the compilation cd under the same artist listing?
