how to get your all contacts stored to icloud on iphone and remove that is there on phone

i have uninstalled itunes with all data and my phone has contacts backup 6 months old. i now reinstalled itunes and my contacts are on icloud. how to get these contacts on phone and erase previous one

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

hi, if you go on your phone and go to Settings > iCloud and toggle the Contacts to on then you should be get a message saying do you want to merge your contacts with your iPhone's just click on merge.


but i would get a back up of my icloud before i did this if i was you.
