How to play a movie of extension .dv4 on my Mac ???

iMac intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.3)
Never seen the format but a Google search shows it is
Bosch Security Systems CCTV video file
All the software points to Windows Media Player as the only player but I would try the free VLC player on a Mac.
I tried both Windows Media Player and VLC ... They can NOT open it !
Also i tried Video viewer, it can NOT open it ....
some one has any idea Please....
If it can be opened by Windows Media Player, try installing this:
