ipod disabled connect to itunes do not have the same computer

I have a ipod touch that is disabled its telling me to connect to itunes but i do not have the same computer

iPod touch, Windows 7

Place thre iPod in recovery mode and then restore on any computer with iTunes. For recovery mode see:

cannot restore the ipod as computer isnt recognising the ipod , we are using a different computer since the ipod was set up and has been disabled now for a few months ..what are the steps for recovery as the link above didnt help thanks
