How do I get Flixter to send me iTunes code instead of Ultraviolet crap?

I just bought 'Drive' on bluray (great movie by the way) and like I've done so conveniently with all my other bluray movies in the past, I was going to download the digital copy onto my MBP. This time however, there was no digital copy and no iTunes code, instead there's this thing called Ultraviolet and the more I'm trying to familiarize myself with it the more I realize it is complete crap. I don't want to have to download some other application to play a movie that I'm not sure is even compatible with iTunes.

Not sure why they changed it and stopped using the iTunes codes, but I heard that many people were upset with the switch to Ultraviolet and Flixster is aware of the problem and they even sent iTunes codes for the Harry Potter movie to unhappy customers. I tried to email Flixster customer service to ask them for the iTunes code for 'Drive' but they make it so that it's impossible to find their email address on their site (or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place). Has anybody emailed Flixster support and gotten an iTunes code? And if so, what is there email address? Thanks.

The Harry Potter thing was because they had not labeled the package properly, this was the same for all the early UV movies.

They don't do it anymore so get over it and just use the Flixster App, they even give you a free movie.

Oh, and Ziatron...Apple is the one that needs to get off their rears and add UV support to iOS & Apple TV, not the other way around.

If they want to stay competitive then they will do what it s necessary to keep customers. Apple makes it difficult to add support for their devices because they want to keep it locked up so they can spoon feed the masses what they think you should have.

If Apple allowed Flixster onto Apple TV then this would be a non-issue.

Hi Jesse,

If by any mean Digital Entertainment Group is eager to promote a sensible use for the consumer of the media he paid whatever is the platform, here is the problem.

I bought a Warner movie on BlueRay DVD with a digital copy advertised as iPad compatible.

One major feature of an ipad is to watch movies on my large TV screen through AirPlay.

UV with flixter app doesn't allow this, just insane.

and it is.

and to do this, you also need to use an AppleTV.

But you can plug your iPad into your TV using a digital to HDMI cable and view the movie on the TV using the Flixster app.
