If you school is on a special list then yes, 10%. You would need to heck with principal or call apple to find out. 1-800-MY-APPLE

If you check the Education Store there is no discount. I checked before responding earlier. Where did you find a 10% discount?

I don't see that. When I enter the Education Store for my school the prices on iPads are the same. There are discounts on computers and some other items, but not on iPads or iPods.

Stopped in an Apple Retail store a month ago with faculty ID and was told no educator discount on iPads.

If a particular school/district has worked an arrangement with Apple, that is another story and does not address the issue here, a general question about education discounts.

Yes, that could be. I can't see the Canadian store because I am not connected to any Canadian university.

That's on Macs, not iPads. I guarantee you that you will not get $200 off of any iPad in any country (except for perhaps refurbished iPad 1s, if any are still available), and unless a school is purchasing iPads in quantity, there is no discount at all. The single-quantity price for education in Canada is exactly the same as the retail price.
