Q: Did I download this in error? I see nothing about what I want to do.

I want to do is record a CD (music) I already have to my Ipod. Did I download this in error? I see nothing about what I want to do.

I also used to Podcast WOR710 radio shows. Is this still done the same?

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

I downloaded itunes which had disappeared from my computer and something else that seemed more for movies which I don't take and rarely watch. But it mentioned burning CD's so I took a chance. I jdon't understand why my itunes disappeared and all I want to know is how to add a musice CD to my IPod.
Sorry to have been confusing. I'm 70 and mainly use it for Dr appt.'s, the weather, email, and a few games. So obviously I am not the typical user. It also said I was now on the 3rd of my 5, I should only be on 2. I don't understand or know what to do about it.
