Do you share a calendar with anyone else? I was having the same problem and found out that my wife's iCloud account was locked out by apple (for some unknown reason). When I tried to log into her account on icloud.com, I was notified that she needed to go to iforgot.apple.com and change her password. Once I did that, I was able to use iCal again without the error.

Greetings,

If you cannot open your calendar on icloud.com the issue is not with iCal, but with the data in your iCloud account or the iCloud account itself:

To ensure the issue is not just with your web browser, try accessing iCloud.com calendar with a different computer or a different web browser:

http://www.mozilla.org

https://www.google.com/chrome

http://www.opera.com/download/

If the same issue occurs on another computer or in a different browser, there is nothing you can do from your end, you need to contact iCloud support to find out what is wrong with your account: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/

Cheers.

iOS devices (iPads and iPhones) have their own dedicated conduit to the iCloud servers as they are a different OS than the Mac OS (or Windows for that matter) and often access the server through a different type of network (3G).

The fact that the issue happens when accessing the server directly (using the website) tells us it is a server side issue or (less likely) an issue with the network you are on with your computers.

I will contact the iCloud support.

Providing this info: when I access the Calendar on iCloud.com I receive an error message "Impossible to load the Calendar". When I click "Inform Apple", a new window appears with the message "Impossible to load the Calendar. A problem occurred with the application loading caused by a possible network error or a missing resourse. Retry"

Let's see if they can help.

Thanks

Two calls to Apple support. Both times they suggested two or three unuseful potential solutions and after that the conclusion was that there was something on the server side they were working on, so I had to wait for a couple of days.

I've been waiting for a couple of weeks... no change.

That's incredible... never happened something like that with Apple before, and most of all they cannot solve it!!!!

Hi, I was having the same error. This is what I did:

I deleted all the shared calendars and shutdown my iPhone/iPad.

I logged in again to icloud.com and my calendar was showing again!

After that I rebooted my iPhone it started to work again.

I can't believe that with a restart I fix this issue.

Let me know if that fixed for you.

having same problem but i'm not working in icloud yet. i do sync ical, google calendar and an android smart phone. all synced just fine up until everyone started noticing issues of sync several months ago.

i got it to work again for a while, but now, only one of my calendar delegates doesn't work. all others do but this one. i get the "500" error message and it keeps wanting to go "offline" then that calendar delegare disappears. my wife and i share one common calendar delegate that works fine (she's not on the cloud yet and is in total ical/iphone world).

this fixable?
