Was wondering if AirPort Express will come to any use if i were to buy it and if it will it make my browsing and downloads faster than my regular Netgrear router, please let me know.

No, it won't make it any faster.
You can use it for other things like Airplay, connecting a USB printer or external HD etc....

The main thing an Airport will do is give you a wireless network if you don't already have one.
That way other wireless devices like iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, or other wireless computers can connect to your wireless network.

The only way to make your browsing and downloads faster is to get a faster service plan from your Internet Service Provider.
