I can not see videos in youtube

Try to redownload/reinstall flash. Which browser are you using? Have you tried viewing the video in other browsers? Is it just videos on Youtube?

I too can not see any videos be it on you tube or my own vidoes

Since upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion, a high percentage of YouTube videos no longer play within Safari 5.1.7. There is just a spinning progress bar. I can generally access the same videos with mobile Safari on my iPad or with Firefox on the desktop.

Make sure to run a software update

Click the () in the Upper Left corner and click Software Update.

If that doesn't work:

Open Safari.

Click on the word Safari located next to the Apple () in the upper left corner.

Click on Preferences

Click on the Security tab

There will be some checkboxes:

1. Enable plug-ins

2. Enable Java

3. Enable JavaScript

4. Block pop-up windows

A) If 1, 2, and 3 are unchecked, check them.

B) If they are already checked, uncheck them, wait 5 seconds, check them again.

Click on Safari next to the Apple () again.

Click Reset Safari

Note: To avoid losing any desired information regarding web history uncheck the following:

-Clear History

-Reset Top Sites

-Remove Saved Names and Passwords

Now try to watch the videos.

Also have you reinstalled Flash Player yet as jk_baller suggested?

Resetting Safari appears to have helped me. The video in my original posts now plays and several others that I have tried. Thanks!

Well the stalling YouTube video issue returned after a day. 😟

Safari 6.0 has restored my ability to watch YouTube.
