Question

I have some audio files that I can't delete.

I have some audio files (audio books) that may have been corrupted on loading to the phone. The titles appear in a sort of shadowy text. I can't open them, but more to the point, I can't delete them. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these phantoms?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1

Have you tried unsyncing them with iTunes by deselecting sync audio books on the Books tab of your iTunes sync settings, then syncing your phone? If so and that hasn't worked, try re-checking sync audio books in iTunes, sync, then uncheck sync audio books and sync again.
