Apps to make/edit mixes?

I'm looking for an app that allows me to mix music but lets me play around with everything and save as I go. The idea is to make a really long mix of lots of songs so I was thinking something like garageband but more adept to edit music and add beats, sounds, etc. Any ideas? price is a variable
