Simple: I have a macbook in the living room already connected to speakers, and I have an imac in the bedroom already connected to speakers. When I want to hear music in both rooms, there MUST be a painlessly simple way to use airplay to play music from one computer to the other - thereby eliminating the need to wire separate speakers throughout the house.
I think you should use "home share" from itune from your imac and have the macbook from living room pick up the media content to play in the living room..
