My ipod touch will not connect to wifi, it wont even show the wifi source now

My ipod use to not connect to wifi like once a week and would just say error connecting to wifi. Now it doesnt even show the wifi source and i cant get to it. Help please

- Does it still connect to other networks?

- Is this your problem:

iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim

- You can try the standard fixes:

- Reset. Nothing is lost

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset network settings: Settings<General>Reset>Reset Network Settingds

- Restore from backup

- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

Hey I had the same issue, the wifi was working perfectly the first few weeks and then started to slow down, then it suddenly stop working and didnt connect at all. I tried everything, then I madeup my mind to take it to a Apple Store, where they told me my iPod had a defect 😟. Good news is- they replaced it with a new one, ofcourse it was still under warranty. So visit the nearest store before its too late.
