Q: Why am i being declined of my rights? by Apple and the UAE phone carriers?
Why am i being declined of my rights? by Apple and the UAE carriers? facetime is like yahoo Messenger? why is it blocked from AE phones? It isn't a phone thing! you can't use it on a 3G network! and why it isn't mentioned clearly on the iPhone and iPad product boxes marketed for UAE that facetime is disabled and we can't use it?
Do I really have to jailbreak the product to use what is rightfully mine?
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1, iPad 2

To be fair, Apple is doing nothing other than complying with the rule of law by the UAE government regarding the sale of iPhones in their country. The UAE ruling government has made it a requirement for Apple to sell iPhones in their country that facetime be disabled on the devices. So your complaint needs to be put to the UAE government, not the retailers who are simply abiding by the law of the land. You and the UAE government are the ones who appear to disagree on what is a personal right or not.
