Migration help please

Am using migration to move my data and setting from old mac to new.i have more than 150gb information to move using wireless,when he start,he said 70hours left... is this the real time for migration? any other fast way? can i just plug in an Ethernet cable?

can i stop and redo the migration later? i cant wait this hours..it too much
