Q: More memory to my iMac 2008

I want to upgrade to OSX Lion but my iMac, from 2008, have not memory enough for that. I have 1 GB of possible 4GB. One cardplace is emty, i guess. Kan I put a 2 GB memory in the other emty cardplace or must I have two identic memory cards? Are all combinations okey? 1+1, 1+2 or 2+2 GB?

When I have found out and bought the right card, can I put it in place myself? Is it easy? Is it riskful?

Apple suggests upgrading your RAM with two identical modules. In your case, you'll want to install 2 + 2 for a total 4gb RAM.

Installing RAM is relatively fast, and involves little risk.
