Can't open wmv attachments...is there a converter App?

Search the iTunes Store for "WMV". You should find several apps that can play WMV files as long as they're not encrypted or using one of the codecs Microsoft has never licensed for use on other platforms.

Thank you...but I wasn't clear enough in my question. When I receive an email attachment with a wmv file how can I open it to view it on iPad 2.
If you have an app capable of viewing WMV, there will probably be an "open with" for the attachment that will allow you to select the app. That's usually the case, assuming the app's developer follows Apple's guidelines.
