The title says it all "Will iOS 5.1 be coming to the iPad 2" mine is on iOS 5.0.1 and it says it's up to date yet they said in the Keynote that iOS 5.1 is available today...

I believe technically they said it would be available today, not this instant. The event ended less than 30 minutes ago, the store is not back up, I'm sure the servers are being pounded by everyone wanting everything RIGHT NOW.
Be patient and wait, try updating your device this evening or tomorrow morning and I'm sure it will come up with the update.

I get a server cannot be reached alert. It is probably deluged at this moment! 😎
Can you get this update from your iPad? Like in the general settings area... I tried and it says that an error occurred while checking for a software update.
Yes it is available for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4, I presume for the iPad 1 as well, but the servers may be busy so be patient, go to general then software update you must be funning iOS 5. Hope this helps?
I know how to update it, it just says an error occurred but your right, the servers are probably to busy.
Yes it will be a server issue. Try in an hour or so, or tomorrow it only takes 20minutes to do the update.
