need help.. this is my first apple
when i take my music from my old lap top (toshiba) and put it on a flash drive and then put the flash drive into my new laptop (macbook pro) where do i look to open that file where the music was transfered?

was the music in Itunes?
If you haven't used Finder, the Mac file management program, to Copy the music from the Flash drive to the hard drive you have to do that first. Copy it into the Music folder.

Do you know at least how to find the files in the flash drive while connected to the Mac ?
If you see the icon of the Card on the desktop click on it.
If not, then open finder and click cmd, (yes cmd and the comma) to open finder preferences and in preferences general select to show all elements on the desktop.
