If you purchased your iPad from another source, ask that dealer what return policy if any they might have.

That information is wrong.

Check with you local Apple store, you'll thank me later.

The manager of an Apple Store may be able to waive the requirements, but it is not guaranteed. Apple's official return policy is 14 days. It won't hurt to ask, of coures.

Varjak paw is spot on, when I did my exchange, a manager showed up and she had to aprove something that popped up in the iPod touch that the floor associate was helping me with...That maybe why I've got the exchange!

The blog says "trust me but I cant reveal my source.". Hardly compelling proof. :-)

It works. I bought mine on the 16 of Feb. I turned it in yesterday. Went to two different stores and got two different results. Its up to the manager. He/she has nothing forcing him to take your return. The first store I went to the manager upheld the 14 day policy. The next store the manager swapped it without any question. He said yeah I would be pretty ****** if I had just bought it and they released a new one shortly after.
