How long does it take before password change is recognized?

I just changed my password via the support. I received an email and followed through all the steps. I received another email saying that the password with my Apple ID is changed. However, when I try to login with my new password it doesn't work on icloud.com. Even on the Apple App Store on my iPhone, iPad, iMac it still requires the old password. Even when I try to change the password on my iPhone and iPad to the new one, it says that the account and password don't match. So does anyone have an idea how long it takes before a change is made? I changed about 45~60 minutes ago. I can't imagine that it takes this long actually. Thanks in advance for all the replies.

I waited 48 hours now, but not the right thing happened actually. On icloud.com I still use my old password, but to login here I need to use the new one I entered. Very strange. Any idea how that happened? I thought that changing password to my Apple ID means it's changed for all of my services.

It should be instant, however I am awere that there have been some AppleID servier problems in the last 48 hours or so. So you may have to wait if the issue is still going on.

Are you sure you didn't change for a different apple ID? The average user has 12 apple id's, and is not even awere of most of them.

Everything is working fine now. I changed for the right Apple ID. Probably indeed something wrong with the system. Anyway, thanks for thinking with me, HACKINTOSH.
