Screen is blue?

The screen is blue when - on the homescreen, on one particular app, on all apps ? Have you tried a reset to see if that clears it ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have the same issue. What did you have to finally do to fix this issue?

If the reset doesn't fix it, make an appointment and take it to your local apple store and have them take a look at it.

I have an Ipad 1 gen bought in 2010. Doing some research I think there is a connection between date bought and the screens. Thick striped, black white or colored but Apple are refusing to acknowledge. If I can get enough people I will take this further if I can! I got the ipad4 1year 4months ago. It has the same problem. It maybe a design defect.

Slap the back. This may sound really dumb but I had the same problem and I got really mad and slapped the back and it works perfectly now. Lol

Me too facing same issue. 2 times blue screen while playing temple run. 2. Apple help this is really annoying....

I slapped mine in frustration and it booted right up! Go figure.
