Q: Question about digital gift cards

Hey

I know someone can send another one an app as a gift - he pays for it and the friend gets it for free. My question is if you can do the same but with money, like digital gift card. Can someone send another one electronic (not the solid one you can find in apple stores) gift card with an amount of money he can use in the app store (which in my case I want to use to buy some in app purchases which you cant send as gift...)? So can I do this ?

like theses colourful cards you can buy in the apple store and redeem the code, but without the solid card....

I should have asked what country you are in earlier. Purchasing using store credit is currently not possible in Israel. Sorry

Using iTunes, your gift certificate can be emailed directly to your recipient or printed using your printer at home. If you already have iTunes installed, just click the link below. iTunes will launch and take you to the right page to purchase a gift certificate in the iTunes Store:

yes, but my question is if you can send not only curtein apps, but an amount of money the user can use however he likes..?

Sorry for not being more specific. You may use the link I previously provided to purchase iTunes Email Gift Certificates, which your gift recipient can use to purchase the items of their choice on the iTunes, App, or Mac App Store.

ok, i got a bit confused here, so ill try to phrase my question a bit different.
I haven't inserted my credit card into the apple app store and im not willing to (im not realy able to). When i want to buy an app that costs money, i ask my friend, that inserted his credit card to the app store, to send me the app as a gift and I pay him. Is there any way, that I, that dont have a credit card on the app store, could buy in-app-purchases in the app store? any way?

As I previously suggested, have your friend buy and send you an iTunes email Gift Certificate, and then pay him.

i have a problem, i cant find the place where i can reach the itunes gifts section. this is how my screen looks like:

how can i reach there? is there a chance its not availble in my country (israel) so its not there?
