How do I see a USB disk on my local Network?

Here's the problem:

My (italian) DSL provider included a modem/router with USB ports.

I am able to see my router "Thompson" on my local network as a sorta PC but I cannot see my USB Disk attached to it.

I believe the problem is that the Disk attached is a Mac OS Extended (Journaled), also a clone of my SSD, with the Mac OS 10.7.3 installed.

Is there a way to see Mac OS disks on that kind of local Network?

Forgive my ignorance about it.

Thanks,

L

You'd have to ask Thompson about how to share out the disks, or look online for a manual for their router.

You are likely correct that it cannot handle an HFS disk.
