You can't augment vram.
different graphic cards come with different amount of vram but it's not something you can upgrade after you buy your iMac.

When you buy a new iMac, you can get a graphic card with a maximum of 2GB of memory on it.
But this is something you need to order when you buy the computer, it can not be changed after the computer is delivered.
And the 2GB option is only available for the 27 inch 3.1 GHz iMac. (see image)
The amount of memory on your graphic card CAN NOT be modified.

This only means that what ever iMac you choose to buy, the graphic card that is in it will give you superior graphics performance.
Apple is saying that the graphic cards they have installed in the iMac are all very good cards.
It never says that you can have all different cards in all the iMacs.
So for the last time; YOU CAN NOT UPGRADE THE VRAM ON THE GRAPHIC CARD OF YOUR 21,5 inch iMAC!
The specifications in the image in my last post are very very clear on that.
For the 21,5 inch iMac, you have the choice to get the 6750m or 6770m graphic card with 512MB of memory on it.
And again, that choice can ONLY be made when you buy the iMac, NOT AFTER you get it.
