Cannot Update the apps with iOS 5.1 upgrade

Upgraded the new operating system iOS 5.1 today on my iphone 4. It said seven apps to update. I have tried my best to update the apps but it is not updating.

1. It is stuck and says "Waiting to update". If you click the app while it says waiting to update it goes in "Pause" mode

2. Tried to delete and reinstall the apps and still cannot update the apps.

Problem/ bug with the new operating system.

Unable to update the following apps:

1. ibooks

2, Linkedin

3. Twitter

4. Google Places

5. Where is my iphone

6. Pages

7. Angry Bird Seasons

same problem with me but You have some application which are cannot sync it but my phone didnot sync any app

I have the same problem.

I was able to update the apps through Itunes with my Iphone plugged in and then Sync. But now I can't download any new apps without it saying "Waiting to update".

Other than this, I have tried signing out of my Apple ID in Settings and signing back in. I have tried rebooting. I am considering to try a restore. So frustrating. Does anyone know any other ways to fix this?

Before the restore you could try connecting to itunes and completely unsyncing the apps - uncheck the 'sync apps' box and hit apply - then recheck the box and apply again. This should reset the 'waiting' message on the apps on the phone.

and i signed out the itunes from but still asking for the password and i have purchased the used iphone 4 so it's keep asking old user password which i didn't have
