Help using a Windoze Disney Digital Camera in iPhoto

Alright, I feel somewhat lame posting this question, but here goes....

My wife bought our daughter the Disney heart-shaped digital camera (model DDC-9000) but it only comes with a CD and drivers for Win 98/ME/00/XP. Does anyone have any idea if there are "universal" type drivers out there for OS X that would allow me to somehow get iPhoto to recognize this camera? It connects via USB but OS X doesn't see it.

Thanks.

It's really hard to make these cameras work, I did a search on Google too for this model but turned up with nothing.

There is a program called Macam which works with webcams, but it may be worth a try to get OS X detect it. I've used it with old Logitech cameras to take pictures with.

Yes, the 2010 olympics should be pretty good up here. It's all the local news talk about!

Too bad that software didn't work. You may need to check iPhoto's website and purchase a compatible camera off their list if you don't find any other info about this Disney camera. It's too bad manufacturers make these Windows only devices. Perhaps checking the Linux or Unix sites might help too.
