Ford Fiesta 2012 iPod connection problem

My 2012 (12 plate) Fiesta Edge, after 1 week, now does not allow me to browse through the playlists using the directional buttons on the dash. It has done previously but not anymore. Everything works in terms of the sound coming out but it just says "please wait..." and then does nothing when pressing the left arrow to browse the playlists. It just displays the song title again.

Does anyone know why this could be happening?
