Hi Friends,

I am using iPhone 4S and just updated to IOS 5.1
after the updated i feel that the phone is getting heated up really bad. it was heated up in IOS 5.0.1 too but not this bad.

hoping anyone else is also having the same problem and have a solution too.

note: mostly heating happens when using camera and playing heavy games like infinity blades and real racing 2

The device has a temperature sensor, and a warning message will appear on screen if the device gets beyond operating range. Don't worry too much, it's just the power of the processor!! Enjoy it!! Warm up your brew!!

Well that maybe the reason its heating up, if your playing heavy games.

yeah but my question is will it not affect the hardware or any other problem related to it ?
many devices are playing those heavy games, that too i didnt experience this bad when i was in IOS5.0.1

Interesting. Has anyone from Apple looked at this?

A friend of mine using iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1 and my wife who is using iPhone 3gs both complained of the same issue of phone heating up extensively while using camera or voip calls like Skype or Viber.

    Any advise or help appreciated.

    Thanks
