Q: Can I use Appleworks for Windows on my MacBook Pro?

I bought a new Macbook Pro this summer, and just updated it to Lion, and now Appleworks doesn;t work at all anymore.  I was wondering if I download a copy (and I'm not sure where to find one) of Appleworks for Windows, if it will work and I could just use the woindows version of it on my Macbook wince It's got the latest version of windows on it with parallels.  Has anyone tried this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7), Intel Core i7, 2.2Ghz, Quad 4/2111

I don't know of any where you can download AppleWorks, legally or otherwise. The last I checked Hardcore Mac was selling both the Mac & Windows versions of AppleWorks 6 on CD. I have used AppleWorks 6.2.2 for Windows on Windows XP in Parallels & it works well. I have not tried it in Crossover. And there is always Boot Camp, again, something I haven't tried.
