When will the iPad 3 ship? i preorder on the first day march 7th

It will arrive on the 16th, as the notice in your confirmation email should have said. As for when, it depends on whether it is coming direct from China or if it has already been shipped abroad (as some websites have reported). You'll find out when you receive a tracking number from Apple, but even then you won't know for sure until it actually leaves the warehouse.

I ordered mine on the 7th too, and got an email last night (the 9th) just after midnight that it had shipped. Tracking shows this to be true. Left Chek Lap, Hong Kong 8pm their time, so get ready. Oh, and it says it will deliver on the 16th ... no range, just the 16th.

Mine shipped today (tracking shows as picked up 8:21 am on March 9) from Middletown, PA. It is shipped via "Standard Overnight" but with "Future Delivery Requested" and shows March 16 as expected delivery date.

I ordered mine on the Thursday the 8th (we're approx. one day ahead of US). Got an email yesterday (10th) telling me it's shipped. Not sure what yours says, but mine says deliver by 22nd.

There's no Future Delivery or Expected Delivery Date.

I guess I'm getting it on the 22nd.

Preordered mine on the 7th. No shipping notice yet. Still processing......... Probably going to be a while.

I ordered mine on the 7th as well and still no shipping notice. It still says it will be delivered on the 16th, but is still "preparing for shipment"....

I ordered mine on the 7th as well, just received a shipping confirmation for FEDEX that says its been picked up and is coming from Middleton, PA which is about an hour from my house... but delivery is scheduled for the 16th... guess FEDEX is going to be holding on to a lot of ipads for a couple days.

6 DAYS AND MY PRE ORDER IS STILL IN PROCESSING.........................

I pre-ordered on March 7th and got it engraved, today couple of minutes back got a shipment tracing saying that it is shipped from China on march 14th and delivery on 16th by end of the day.

I heard ppl saying tht 16th delivery will be getting shipment informations by tomorrow.

Mine is like most others, listed for delivery March 16. I went to my support profile https://supportprofile.apple.com and it already lists my iPad as registered to me, with serial number.

Even I checked and mine too is registered with the serial number for which I gave the nick name too 🙂 now its showing as departure scan from China.

I just checked my support file to see if it was showing up there. Nothing...... not showing up anywhere and listed as still processing on my order status. Hoping it catches up today, I ordered it on the 7th, you would think they would process them in the order they were received.

Not sure abt the order bcoz ppl who ordered on 8th got their shipment details before where as I got them just yesterday.
