How do I export GarageBand session files from my iPad2 GarageBand to my Mac Book Pro GarageBand?

I'm trying to move over my song files I've created on my iPad 2 to my Mac Book Pro GB and I can't seem to do it through iTunes, or mailing them. My iCloud is almost full but I can't find a way to clear it out. What am I doing wrong here?

With the latest build of GarageBand on the device, move to the My Songs, tap the Edit button at top right, select the shaking song you want to export, then tap the sharing arrow symbol at top left, tap iTunes, then GarageBand.

Connect the device to iTunes, select it in the left-hand column, then select the Apps tab. You should find the exported file in the File Sharing area of the GarageBand app and from there you can copy it to your computer, then open it with the GarageBand application.
