"Mailbox" Column Disappearing

Whenever I turn on the "mailbox" column in my "Email to Act Upon" smart folder (not the inbox), it disappears when I go to another folder and then return. Is this a bug? Might it be because one of my folder names is not in English but in Japanese characters?
