I just used my TNT tracking number from the original email that Apple sent me. They only went live yesterday afternoon but tracked fine at http://www.tnt.com/express/en_gb/site/home.html

Just entered my 10 digit number which started with 8 then all good.

Hope everyone else's turns up ok - well worth the wait, the display is amazing!

Oh yeah, and remember it could always be worse - you could be one of those getting cold queueing for the last few days then being told "Sorry, we have none left"

Awesome!  I'm still showing no movement to my local hub yet.  Probably another hour or two before that happens, but FedEx may show nothing at all which wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Apple products.

For those frequently checking FedEx tracking status online (or via some app), keep in mind that a status entry may take awhile to show up.  Case in point:  early this morning I noted the last entry at 6:32am stating that my package was "At local FedEx facility".  By 8am, that was still the last entry displayed, and yes I refreshed my browser cache .  So, I figured I'd go ahead and walk to a nearby coffeehouse and grab a cup of jo plus a bite to eat.  During my breakfast-errand I kept checking the tracking status -- no change:  "At local FedEx facility".  Then around 8:15am or so, a new entry appeared on the tracking page stating that it was "On FedEx vehicle for delivery", but -- get this -- it was timestamped at 6:37am; just 5 minutes after the previous entry.  The 6:37am entry online didn't appear for me until about 8:15am!  Thank goodness when I arrived home I did not find a dreaded tag on my door stating they had attempted a delivery and missed me.  To be fair, in all my ridiculous anticipation of this thing, I will allow for the possibility that I just didn't see the 6:37am entry earlier, but I think it's unlikely.  I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I haven't felt this excited about something since being a little kid the night before Christmas -- this is my first iPad --but I felt it was important sharing with the community here about the FedEx updates in case anyone else may be planning their movements around them.

It's great that you're this excited.  Most of us work hard, live good lives, are honest, decent people, but the magic of something new is often missed and to see that this is something that has given you that "Christmas Morning" anticipation thrill, is actually quite nice!  Enjoy your iPad when you get it.  I wouldn't be without mine for sure.....

Kind of nice to feel like that 5 year old kid again. Who knew Santa drove a delivery truck!
