Not all my movie purchases are showing up, does anyone else have this problem?

With the new software update for apple tv, it now supports movie purchases on cloud. It only worked with some of my movies. I still have 4 that are not showing up that I bought from iTunes. Is there a glitch in the system? Is anyone else having this issue?

I read the since some producers didn't sign up yet than some movies would not show up, or if movies were no longer available than they too would not be showing up under "purchased" movies to be than placed in the cloud. I checked into this and I have about 10 movies or more missing that ARE available in the iTunes store such as: fast five, Harry potter's, Thor, ect.. All my movies are showing under my downloaded/purchased from iTunes in my account history just not under "purchased" for iCloud purposes... What's going on here?

Technology experts are working on a movie storage system where YOU have physical possession of the movie.

This system stores the movie digitally on an optical disk system that will not be dependent upon a congested, complicated, and fragile network.

Because all of the data is stored only a few feet from your television, all the bottlenecks are removed. Performance and reliability are virtually flawless.

Further, the system will not utilize any form of security codes, authentications, or passwords. Once the optical disc is purchased it can be moved around freely at will, and can even be lent or given to friends and neighbors with zero hassles.

I have this same problem. I invested in an apple tv in hopes of stopping my cluttersom bluray collection and just start using all digital media. Great! So I bought 15 movies and only had access to 7. So I emailed iTunes and the guy said ((I have the email)) that he would allow me access to these movies and for me to compile a complete list with all the invoice and receipt numbers of all this missing movies because he was making a one time courtesy. Okay. Scrounged my entire past year of purchase history and sent him the list with all the proof. In the next email he said he couldn't help me and gave me a third party link under each movie to their producer's site saying I'd have to take it up with the film companys' sites, it wasn't iTunes problem anymore, and not giving me any further insight and completely reneging on his promise to grant me another chance to get my collection back. He did grant me access to ONE of my missing movies, Paul, and I was happy to get at least one back, but after the second email of oops I lied, it was again missing from my purchase history. At this point I am returning my apple tv and just sticking to my good old fashion blurays and player. Unlike iTunes copies, those aren't going to magically disappear on me!

I got my Apple TV today from Best Buy. I have 5 of the old versions. Which I kind of like more than the streaming one. But, it says that I have 200 TV shows. Well I actually have 1053!!!! So it is WAY off. It is telling me I have 40 some movies when actually I have 93. It told me I had to joing something from itunes on my PC for the music to work. I wonder why they will not show up? Some of the movies are from codes I got when I bought the blu ray. But some are working. Jurrassic Park and Bacvk to the Future trilogys are not showing up. I just checked and you can get them from itunes. I am sure Apple will fix any problems. The new Apple TV is just that, new!!!!

Go look again and notice the text right under the buttons to purchase. All the Jurassic Park and Back to the Future movies say they are not availabl for iTunes in the Cloud:

There is nothing to "fix" since Apple does not control the copyrights for these movies; the copyright holders do. You'll need to talk to them about making these purchases available to iTunes in the Cloud.

If you go back and re-read this entire thread you'll see that not all movies studios have signed on to iTunes in the Cloud, and even those copyright holders who have signed on will not make all of their content available to iTunes in the Cloud.

I'm having a similar problem. I have purchased several movies recently on my ATV2. They show up under purchased movies, I am able to access them from the ATV2 as well as both my computers. Several days later, I purchased a movie on iTunes on my main Mac, it is not showing up as purchased on my iTunes account, was not able to download on the Mac I purchased it on, but it did download to my second Mac. I have been emailing iTunes supports for weeks and keep getting the same generic reply each time. I have tried their suggestions, but no dice. I'm wondering if my main Mac has something going on with it that is blocking the download, but I don't think that there is a difference with the firewall, etc. Any suggestions?

Not all my movie purchases are showing up, does anyone else have this problem?
