Does Logic offer built in pitch correction like Cubase, and Digital Performer?

I come to Logic Pro from Cubase and Digital Performer Background.

I need pitch correction built into the software, much like it is built into the core of the other programs. Is this built into Logic? Cubase offers Vari Audio and DP offers pitch correction as well. Is it built into Logic?

I have Auto Tune, and Melodyne and I understand that I can insert it into a channel and run in real time, but I am trying to avoid having to load 18 channels of audio into Melodyne, and have to play it over every time that I need pitch correction.

So, any answers here?

Thanks,

Rich
