Hi. Looking for an app that would allow me to verbally dictate ideas and then edit them on the screen. Uses for journaling or short stories. Anything like that out there?

I'm on OS X 10.6.8
Are there any less expensive or freeware versions or other programs? I too am just looking for a really SIMPLE talk to type thing, just for writing stories, NOT for opening secret programs or giving commands to other programs, just writing stories...
