Just bought a Mac Powerbook G4 running at 867 mhz with 1mb L3 cache and 768 SDram ,as i am new to Mac`s and there OS `s ,what is the highest os i can put on this mac . It`s running 10.4.11 Tiger i believe at this time.

Will this slow it down much, if so i might beable to bring the ram up to 1 g max but i believe that all i can do .
the highest it can run is a 10.5.8 ( leopard) and i dont think it will slow it down at all
I am running 10.5.8 on a 1.33 Ghz 17" G4 and it is not slow at all, on the contrary it works better, then again I went up to 2GB ram.....Good luck Dale.....
