Itunes sharing and range extenders.

I am currently using netgear and their range extender, however I cannot access itunes sharing when logged to the extender. If I was to buy two airport extreme and run them as roaming, will iTunes work over the extended network?

AirPort Extreme-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
