Many thanks for your helping.
But I’m really much shocked of Apple Company Cheating. The Apple Company should clear all this specifications of iphone 4s to the customers to decide of what he will buy the GSM one or CDMA. However the Apple Company wrote in his website that:
Call it better, faster, and even more worldly.
iPhone 4S is the first phone to intelligently switch between two antennas to transmit and receive, so call quality is better. It also doubles the maximum HSDPA data speeds to 14.4 Mbps.8 Which means faster connections, faster loading and reloading, and faster downloads. And iPhone 4S is a world phone, so you can use it almost anywhere. Whether you’re a GSM or CDMA customer, you can roam GSM networks in 200 countries around the world.

For your information, I'll sue your company for the above issue
You're not addressing Apple here. Submit your feedback directly to Apple using the appropriate link on the Feedback page:

Yes, you can "roam on GSM networks in 200 countries around the world". What does that have to do with using a "CDMA sim"?

You answered your own issue. 'you can roam GSM networks in 200 countries around the world.'
You can roam on a GSM network. Not a CDMA network. Unless you are a current customer of Verizon or Sprint in the USA then you are NOT a CDMA customer.
Good luck with your lawsuit. You'll REALLY need it.

And please note that I went to CDMA Communication Company to install the CDMA system and they told me this iphone 4s only GSM.
Please help me I bought this iphone to use it on CDMA system.
In our country (Yemen) We have sim cards for CDMA also the make programming for iphone 4 CDMA but for iphone 4s they told me there is two type of this phone one for GSM and the other for CDMA is it correct?
However, the specifications of iphone 4s that it has the both system CDMA & GSM, accordingly, if you have any information about the installing of CDMA in iphone 4s, please send me the instructions.
Many thanks in advance

How can I install CDMA in my iphone 4s.
You can't. You would have had to purchase a CDMA iPhone to begin with...can't be added after the fact.
Are there two types of iphone 4s one for GSM and the other for CDMA.
Yep. There's a GSM model & a CDMA model. The CDMA model can use GSM sims while roaming, but is still carrier locked to the CDMA network it was locked to when purchased. Only the GSM model can be officially unlocked...the CDMA model cannot be officially unlocked.

Once again, there are no CDMA sim cards...anywhere in the whole world...CDMA does not use sim cards. I don't know how clearer I can make that.
I suspect the OP is referring to this:

They are often referred to as "CDMA sim cards".

You haven't been 'cheated'. You didn't do your research. The CDMA phone is flashed to the specific network. Only Verizon and Sprint in the USA. The GSM iphone is world phone if the correct version is purchased.
We understand that. Did you buy it from an supported carrier? If not, it won't work on CDMA where you are. Apple has never stated that CDMA phones are transferrable from one CDMA network to another. They're not.

But I have iphone 4s and it doesn't work on CDMA only work on GSM
The GSM only version of the iPhone 4s (either sold with an AT&T plan or if purchased from Apple directly as an unlocked phone) do NOT have CDMA capability. While physically they may have the CDMA radio components, those are disabled unless the iPhone 4s was initially sold for and activated on a CDMA network like Sprint or Verizon.
If you bought the offically unlocked (and thus GSM ONLY) or an AT&T locked (and thus also GSM ONLY) iPhones, you are never going to get them to work on a CDMA network.
I bought the iphone 4s officially and I have the rights and the evidance to sue this company. in addation the information guide which attached on the product also mentioned that you can use the CDMA or GSM many thanks for your efforts
I know all about Yemen carriers. What people where telling you is correct but the CDMA SIM cards. It is available with some CDMA carriers and one of them in Yemen "The SIM cards for CDMA". Tell me from where did you buy the phone, is it with contract and if so which carrier? If it was unlocked no contract, you got a GSM only phone.
If the phone was CDMA/GSM one, it belongs to Sprint or Verizon, and you can use it with Yemenmobile CDMA but no SIM card will be used "almost sure". But Yemenmobile will have to program the phone for your using what is called OTAP. SIM card on iphones is used only for GSM. Simple because CDMA phone are made for the US, and USA CDMA operators don't use SIM cards like your carrier. Simple cause your carrier is small to have phones made for it specifically unless china made 🙂 of course.
And apple was very clear about everything, no mistakes, you are talking about billions of dollars company.
