How do I rotate (flip) multiple photos 180 degrees?

I accidently scanned multiple images on my slide scanner backwards (180 degrees off horizontal). How can I select multiple photos (e.g. 36) to rotate (or "flip" as its called in Aperture) 180 degrees horizontal? I've tried selecting the photos then checking the flip command, but it only flips the last photo. I'd like to flip multiple photos. The rotate tool seems to only work with vertically rotating pictures. Any help would be appreciated!

Either:

- Flip one and then use Lift & Stamp to lift the adjustment and stamp it on all the others. Note that you can check/uncheck items in the L & S HUD, and also delete items you don't want.

- Apply the adjustment to all selected Images via the menu: "Photos→Add Adjustment→Flip". This is processor-intensive -- give it a couple of minutes.

Changes made using the Inspector are made to the Primary Selection only. Changes made using the menu commands are made to all selected Images. This is, of course, useful.

I don't understand why the rotate commands don't give you what you want. Flip gives you a mirror image.

😕 If Cyrusbononza put the slides "wrong side up" onto his scanner, he will have mirror images - it takes a while to notice that is happening, unless there is some text in the image. I made that mistake myself, when I was scanning my father's slides that had no markers on the frame - my slides all have frames with different colors at the front and the backside.
