Q: Is there any way to get more than one speaker at a time to work on WiFi?

I keep getting a dialog that says that someone else is using this speaker. Must I disconnect the MacMini from the network in order to have more than one speaker working on the iMac using iTunes and OS X 10.7.3?

I guess I didn"t make the situation completely clear. I have two different locations in my house where arportexpress is connected with sterio equipment. "kitchen" and "bedroom. Both have been running through a networked MacMini. I began to have difficulties with the connection and couldn't control the Mini any longer once I switched to Lion. I guess I ment that I couldn't reach my other locations. If the music works on my iMac  it won't work on the other locations.

Not sure if this helps or not, because you are not 100% clear about the issue, but here goes.

I have a Mac Mini, Apple TV, MacBookPro and two iPhones in the house.

I can have the Mini, MacBook and iPhones  send to any one or all of the four speaker locations I have in the house.  In other words, four different streams of music from each of four speaks.  Or one stream from one device on all four speakers (the neighbours love it of course!!)

I can have the Mini send to "lounge" and the iPhone send to "den".  If I want the iPhone to send to "lounge" I have to stop playing the Mini and exit Airplay before I instruct the iPhone (or any other device) to send to "lounge".

In other words, you have to stop and exit Airplay from one device to get another device to send to the same speaker.

    Hope this helps.
