Using non-apple emails with iCloud

Any ideas on how I can sync email using non-apple domains across my desktop, iPad and iPhone. I run a small business and therefore need to retain my domain names rather than using @me.com email addresses. I have about 6 email addresses I'd like to keep synced between devices whilst on the road.

You can't use iCloud for third party addresses.

You can add secondary accounts at system preferences > mail, contacts & calendars on your mac and settings > mail, contacts, calendars on the iPad. Mail will not sync between your devices (ie, read mail on one device will still be unread on another or moving mail to a folder on one device won't move it on another), but at least you will have access to it everywhere.

I tend to just use my phone and iPad to check for mail, but only keep it organised on my desktop.

Hi, I have the same issue: non-mac accounts will not sync between the three devices. I also run a small biz and have several accounts, and the worst is that the sync between the devices USED TO WORK BEFORE (ie before I upgraded to Lion and iOS5 on mac and iphone/ ipad repectively). Now that I have upgraded the OSs, only my mac account syncs, the other 5 do not. There has got to bea solution, can someone/ Apple please please help? Thank you!
