Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I don’t seem to be able to apply for a development certificate for iOS. Every time I follow the instructions in the iOS provisioning portal and create a certificate request, I see my request receiving status "pending" for a second, but after I reload the page it goes straight to "History" and gets marked as "error" with no further details. I’ve tried to get the certificate directly from Xcode, but to no avail either.
What could be the cause of this?

Talk about unlucky...first time trying to issue a cert/provisioning and do it on the one day it's not working. Convoluted enough without tearing your hair out trying to figure out why it's not working.
