hi can any one help i want to get the new ipad for work but i need to print.i see i can buy a usb connector can i print if i plug my printer into the usb.

Sorry, you can not. You can only print wirelessly from iPad. Either you purchase an AirPrint enabled printer, or you have a wireless printer, which you can print to via a paid for App from the App Store, such as Printopia or Print Central. If you need to connect a printer directly via USB, iPad is likely not the device for you. A Laptop might be a better option.
If you have a USB printer connected to your computer, Mac or PC, you can activate or install AirPrint and print from your iPad over wifi without any special apps.
