A solution is installing the WebM Component that enables decoding and encoding of WebM, also one can download it from googlecode - here: http://webm.googlecode.com/files/WebM%20Component%20Installer.pkg or for short http://bit.ly/L7OcB4

This will also (as it consists of VP8 video and Vorbis audio) enable your Quick Time Pro version to encode OGG.
