Random lock of every app particularly sono as LAN or airport is connected.

My MacPro random crashes freezing the screen at that point and when I try to open another application the finder locks at all. I have to reset at this point pushing the power for 10 seconds. I tried to install a new OSX in a new HArd Drive. It doesn't change. I tried to reset the MSC, PRAM, etc. As suggested by Apple support.

I tried to change RAM configuration, video card etc. Always the same. Please Any suggestions? Thank You....

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Xenon 2,8 Gz, 16 gb RAM 2 ATI X1900

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

In the Finder, press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.

Step 1

Select "system.log" from the file list. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the times of the log messages referring to boot times. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the time of the most recent boot when you had the problem. Post the messages logged during the time when you had the problem – the text, please, not a screenshot. For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutes after the boot time. If the problem is a crash or a shutdown hang, post the messages from before the boot time, when the system was about to crash or was failing to shut down.

Edit out excessive repeats and personal information, if any.

If the log doesn't go back far enough in time, scroll down in the Console file list to /private/var/log/system.log.0.bz2. Search the archived log, and if necessary the older ones below them, for the same information.

Step 2

Do the same with kernel.log.

Step 3

Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the most recent one, if any. For privacy’s sake, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please do not post shutdownStall or hang logs – they're very long and not helpful.

I Davis, I caused the problem connecting the MAC via wifi. Connected, I tried to update the MAC OSX and as usually It Locked...The same happens if I use the LAN. The system was reset pushing the power down for 10"...Let me know if You need something else to help me..... For the time being Thank You so Much!

Sorry for late but I had to send You all via my MBP copying all in a text file...

Do you think so? I tried also to instal OS X in another hard drive without nothing else and the problem remain. now I'm trying to install Lion in another hard disk... If it is the Canon printer, I noted that repetitive process look for some file that doesn't exist, why If I work without Connection on the web, the malfunction doesn't appear? It seem like there's something cycling on the system. If I don't know it's a Mac I could doubt of Virus.... ;)

Could You suggest some metod to remove the printer driver or to stop that? I already did for parallels I hadn't..... Thank you.....

But after few seconds or minutes it locks. Now I'm trying with Lion in the hopeness it change somenthing on "bios", if it exist.... Do You noted something wrong on the report you asked me?

Hi to everyone followed my problem. I solved the problem installing OS X Lion. I don't know why I had that problem with Snow Leopard. In the past I had no problem with my MAC PRO.

So, if You are interesting :

I saved my old system with Time Machine than I formatted a new Hard drive installing OSX Lion alone. At this point I recharged with time machine all my application and documents as I had on Snow Leopard.

Now, for the time being, my Mac Pro works again perfectly online too without blocking or any crash!

It will remain only a doubt.... What's the matter?? Bha! Apple Secrets.......

Thank You to all...

Random lock of every app particularly sono as LAN or airport is connected.
